O’Koivu gets another stop!

The Dragons actually get some offense going and exchange shots with the Chiefs…..

Strange misses and Izzy gets a block. Randleman hits one right into O’Koivu. Izzy get on and so does Odegard and Thorstein. But nothing lands.

The Chiefs are back in the Dragons zone and Thorstein takes a shot and Kaiser deflects it……….

Kaiser gets a block! Flacko recovers and lines up another Chiefs shot……

GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! It’s in! Thorstein gets a goal and the Chiefs are up 3-0 just 4:11 into the second period! Ouch! The crowd is going crazy now folks, it’s deafening here!!!

We’ve got a long stretch of what can best be described as chaos and street hockey as the Dragons try to string some sort of offense together to get back into this game but they don’t put anything together.

Kurczewski wins a faceoff and dishes the puck off to Forsberg instantly. But Forsberg takes a big hit by Jensen and loses the puck in the Dragons’ zone.



Forsberg recovers and gets the puck back but takes another hit from Hämäläinen in the neutral zone. The puck goes towards Hocolate. He misses it! Is that a goal!?
!?!11 Chiefs by 4!

The officials have gathered and it looks like this one is turned away by an offsides call. The fans here aren’t happy with that one.



The Dragons still trail, 3-0 with 7 minutes left in the second period.

The Dragons are back on the offensive and it looks like they’ve at least stepped up to challenge the Chiefs in this period. Jones takes a shot but O’Koivu is right there for a save! Nothing!
