8:59 - That second goal by the Knights seemed to have done something to frustrate the Firebirds as the game takes a turn for the nasty almost immediately afterwards, three penalties in short succession brought the game to a 4-3 powerplay for the Knights...
Minor Penalty to Bertholds Tricvaidzins for Hooking. Minor Penalty to Shea Robinson for Elbowing. Minor Penalty to Dr. Timeturner Whooves for Roughing. Three people sinning it out, and that means the ice is a whole lot more open for both teams to take advantage of and find goals. But the truth is that aside from a few shots that were quickly snuffed out, neither team capitalized during that stretch of open ice, with all three penalties ticking away safely and returning the game back to 5on5 after 2 and a bit. 11:17 - As if both teams had been gentlemen, the action picks back up after it has become 5on5 once more, with the quarter going into it's second part, there might be two goals on the boards but there's more than enough time to make up for it... Maximova misses a pass and Eaves is there to take it, who passes it to Eoin MacGregor who then passes it to Robertson who gives it to Guest, and back to Robertson, back to Eaves, and once more back to Robertson they keep the puck moving before Robertson finally goes for it! ... But Bjornsson is there and he is ready for the shot, gobbling it up like cookiemonster and bringing the play back to a standstill. 12:00 - Kelowna has the puck again, but Tony Flow doesn't see the defender and before he knows it he's puckless thanks to Niklas Svensson who plays it to Fleming on the breakaway, he's one on one with Bjornsson and is looking to score! Luke Fleming brings the Firebirds back with a stunning one-on-one goal against the hapless Kelowna goalie. The crowd is going wild and suddenly the team looks like they're right back in this one! Code: Prince George Firebirds , Luke Fleming 2 (Niklas Svensson) at 12:05

13:00 - That Prince George goal might just be the spark that brings the team back into the fight, they seem excited and energized and the fans are now fully behind the team once more.
Minor Penalty to Ivar Ogorodnikov for Roughing. In a moment of frustration the Russian tries to go too hard at his PGF opponent and the ref immediately hits him with a two-minute penalty for roughing. This is the first time PGF will go on the powerplay, and they'll be looking for that tying goal! 14:00 - Their best chance comes one minute into the powerplay when Fleet whiffs a pass and Robertson is right there to take control of it, Taylor gets it into the offensive zone, and they start circling it around trying to find an open player, eventually the puck returns to Robertson who is wide open and goes for a hard slapper! Yeah you might've thought I was going to use gifs on goals only, right? Well here's to keeping you lot on your toes from now on! Bjornsson goes full stretch and grabs the puck out of the air and Robertson will be frustrated that he didn't bury it. 14:00 - But life goes on, and they find more chances to score, DJ Stanley retrieves his own loss and plays it to Webb who plays it back to the DJ, Robertson gets the puck once more and he lets one rip! That one never troubled Bjornsson, and the powerplay timer runs out returning the play to five on five action!
