Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how SHL guys can claim PBPs for SMJHL games (with the option of being bumped by a SMJHL guy) but I have wait to wait til the day of for a SHL game? Feel like it should be one way to go between leagues. Not two sets of rules...Example: I should be able to claim a SHL PBP with the option of being bumped by a SHL guy.

Just my 2 cents!

There are a TON more SHL players, so this way we guarantee the spots are filled for PBPs in SMJHL. We don't have to worry about it in SHL because there are more actives.

Been something that's been bothering since last season. SHL guys just get there dick sucked more than us. But really this rule should be changed to either both sides can claim day of or can claim with a chance of being bumped.

Edit: Narconis has a point. Understandable.

I'd agree, but there's also way less games in SMJHL. Only 2 series instead of 4. So it's still just as even of a ratio of games/actives.
Not trying to stir the pot, as I'm sure I would've been bounced from the PBP I selected anyway!

There are enough active SHL guys that I don't like people claiming two games. It's fucking confusing when I wake up and first thing in the morning see the claim is up and try to wade through 3 pages of claims to figure out which games are still available. I think you should make ONE game claim and then if after a day they aren't filled...THEN have open them up to second sign ups.

Definitely not an even ratio. No no no no. I assure you. You will see. Even with more series, there are SOOOOOOOO many more SHLers that are signing up.

I agree! Just feel like it should be that way for SMJHL too. I'm sure that whoever is running that is dealing with the same thing you are. It would help everyone Smile
