- Noble - 04-14-2016 <div align="center"> ![]() "Welcome to American Airlines Arena tonight ladies and gentleman, and thank you for joining us on this fine night in which great hockey skill will be displayed. The two teams matching up tonight are the West Kendall Platoon, one of the favorite teams going into the playoffs from the western conference, and the New England Wolfpack, the league's underdog team. Looking at the history of the two team's this season, we can see a great clash of opposite stories. The West Kendall Platoon were a strong team all through the season, fighting in and out of the 1st place seed in the East with the Toronto North Stars. The Wolfpack on the other hand struggled during the first half of the season until seemingly finding their footing in the last half to stumble their way into the playoffs by only margarine. While the Wolfpack may be the team to come from behind in this series, they have so far held the high scoring Platoon at bay with only 12 goals against, while the Wolfpack scored an equal amount themselves. The story of the series so far really has been the power of the young forwards on both teams who are stepping up to challenge the numbers in what has been an action packed series. Now with the introduction out of the way, I'll hand it over to the announcer's desk for some pre-game chatter." </div> Code: Next post at 8:45ish, and then the pbp is underway! Just getting some popcorn and a coke. Get in it for the long haul, cause I'm making this an action packed one! - Kevin Juice Bieksa - 04-14-2016 This doesn't sound good - .bojo - 04-14-2016 This is in Florida btw - Eggy216 - 04-14-2016 Woo! You guys got ripped off hard. - JayWhy - 04-14-2016 This is the most interesting series of the playoffs tbh. Away team won every game thus far, 4-2. This should be an incredible game. Also, I just like Quinn so PBP should be good. - enigmatic - 04-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by Eggy216@Apr 14 2016, 10:42 PMI know we're awesome but we don't own the state of Florida yet. I'm joined by Craig Button, Bob McKenzie, and our special guest today, the S28 10th Overall Pick by the Seattle Riot Quinn Stevenson." Craig Button: "Let's break right into it. Their are so many player's who have been key to their team's success in this hard fought series, but their are a few we can really focus down on." Bob McKenzie: "Right, starting with the hometown West Kendall Platoon. The Platoon have put up a very strong roster this year, and a few names have really jumped off the score sheet this serise. One of those guys is Szlerchek, who's been making some phenomenal plays so far. Of course Pettyfer and Wert are right their with him too." DD: "Of course. In net the Platoon obviously have Schmidt who has been performing massively in net for his team. A good game from him will be key to the team winning tonight." Quinn Stevenson: "Schmidt's a really strong goaltender, but the one weak point I noticed in his game was his low side. If the Wolfpack can take advantage and exploit that, they could easily outmatch the Platoon offensively. CB: "On to the Wolfpack then. Young forward Tim Buckner has been a surprise highlight for the team, posting three goals and four points so far. As well, he's gone positive." BM: "Buckner's good, but matching him up with Makinen was maybe the best move the Wolfpack made. The two have great chemistry." QS: "It's noticeable on the ice too, playing against them. They're so vocal with each other and really get the job done." DD: "That'll wrap it up for the analysis, now down to the time keeper's box with Chris Cuthbert."</div> - Eggy216 - 04-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by JPL@Apr 14 2016, 09:51 PM Your VHL teammate ; ![]() - Noble - 04-14-2016 Quote:Originally posted by JayWhy@Apr 14 2016, 08:46 PM I'm a simmer too, what's not to like :D |
