The power play opens with Chris Smulander shooting - and missing the net. Then it's Bar Downski - frozen.
The Firebirds clear and Halifax regroups.
Yuri Boyka Jr. shoots!
But it's blocked by Declan Reilly.
Lukas Müller gathers the loose puck and fires off a shot of his own!

Zhumbayev freezes the puck once again, determined not to let the Raiders take the lead.
Following the faceoff, Chris Smulander takes a shot but misses the net. Zemgus Nylander grabs the puck and looks to clear but is hit by Cody Fletcher and the puck squirts loose with twenty seconds to go on the power play...

As the second period countdown passes the halfway point the Halifax Raiders are really taking the game to the Firebirds.
Prince George is getting almost no scoring chances as Halifax has pitched a tent in the offensive zone.

Oliver König grabs possession and dumps the puck in the Raiders zone, allowing his team to get a much-needed change.
Bar Downski grabs the puck and looks up ice.
It's a bad change by the Firebirds and Downski hits Lukas Müller on the tape in the neutral zone. He enters the zone and it's a 2-on-1 with Chippy Chiclets jumping up into the rush!

Chiclets is calling for the puck as the Firebirds defenseman goes to the ice to take away the pass but Müller slips the puck under his stick anyway.
Chiclets winds up and shoots!
