A disgusted Coach Terrorov screams at the officials. “The clock stopped for three minutes during that shot!” Some garbled Russian expletives leak out and it seems that he’s negotiated for a makeup call, assessed fairly 30 seconds later when Zbigniew Pokrywka slashes Lekberg Osterman. This could be the momentum swing that the Raptor’s need!

The Raptors are buzzing! They know this is when they will start building momentum for games 4-7.
They rattle off 6 shots in 30 seconds, from Urawa, Finn-Rhys, Bohne, and Kane. Everyone is getting shots on net.
McMahon has had a 2 minute rest every five minutes tonight, but right now he’s standing on his head making a sick combo of blocker saves. His rebound control is terrible, but its good for the game flow.

The next 10 minutes are played conservatively by the Kraken. Excessive icings and "4 goal lead maintenance" is in effect.
As the game starts to grow chippy, GM Cuddles calls down to the bench. "Get the stars out of there. let the rookies and inactives finish this up."

The removal of the top lines and focus on defense has given the Raptors the ability to comfortable in the Kraken zone, to the tune of 4 shots on McMahon within 90 seconds.
The scorned Valentine-Okoli wins a faceoff in the Kraken zone. The puck is cycled but the break in play has given the CAR defense the rest that they needed to stay in their lanes. A line change and the Atreides line is on the ice, carried in by the centerman. Pitchforked back to Gorbachenko, and moved down to a cycling Urawa who throws a heel lift for the fake shot! Incredibly cocky, but it works! McMahon bites and Urawa threads one cross-crease to a waiting Henrik Lekberg Osterman who taps in the one timer!
The shut out has ended! No naked lap!
The Raptors do a tasteful hug before looking at the clock.
A 4-1 deficit in the third with only 7:26 to play.
