Éric Pelletier wins the faceoff and we're underway!
The teams trade great scoring opportunities right off the bat as Chippy Chiclets blocks a Dani Forsberg shot at one end and Artom Zhumbayev smothers a great Yuri Boyka Jr. chance at the other.
3 minutes have elapsed and you can cut the tension with a knife.

Jordan Ryder skates the puck up ice where he is absolutely leveled by Sigurd Hansen! This has been a physical game but that hit may have crossed the line. We'll see if the officials agree.

It was a well-fought fight but Dore lands a straight right and drops Carric as the officials rush to intercede. Definitely a win for Jack Dore as the two players take a five minute breather.

Zemgus Nylander intercepts the pass and looks to spring the offense. The Firebirds rush up ice and Nylander hits König in the neutral zone.
He sucks in the defense and finds Forsberg who's all alone far post!

FourFour skates for the bench and the extra attacker is on for the Raiders...
