Pellegrino dumps the puck all the way into the zone and the Mammoths' top unit makes a change, but they're not letting up yet. Lundberg tries to clear the puck but it's intercepted by Stromberg.
Stromberg passes to Conway. Over to Subban. Back to Stromberg. Stromberg shoots...
... pad save by Bjornsson! Subban collects the puck, but his pass is intercepted, and Landvik clears the puck down the ice.
The exhausted penalty kill unit can finally get a change!

This has got to be a tough pill to swallow for the Knights. Their discipline struggles and lack of offense this game have really put them in a bad position. But there are still fifteen minutes left in this period, and anything is possible in the play-offs!
Rossberg intercepts a pass by Sludge, and the Knights are on the forecheck. Mazmiesis carries the puck into the Mammoths' zone. The Knights cycle the puck.

Maybe the Mammoths thought the Knights were just going to accept their fate because they were really caught off guard there! Not anymore though, because the Mammoths take back control of the puck and move it back through the neutral zone.
Ruud passes to Shmyr once he's in the Knights zone. Shmyr over to Mikita. Mikita to Stromberg. It looks like they're trying to set something up here...

The Mammoths are really trying to end it here in the seventh minute. Reynolds shoots, DÃ¥hlssen shoots, but the puck misses the net both times. Bjornsson stops a Subban slapshot from the point, but can't control the puck, and it's back in the Mammoths' possession.
Chips gets off a shot but it misses the net too!
The crowd at Pepsi Center is losing their mind!

The Knights block multiple shots from reaching the net, and somehow manage to escape that penalty unscathed!
We're close to halfway through the third period and the Knights have yet to score. If the Mammoths can continue their dominating play, this could be the end for the Knights!
The Knights dump the puck into the Mammoths zone to get a change. Unfortunately they can't keep it there and the Mammoths move onto the forecheck.
Frederic lays a HUGE hit on Shmyr and the Knights regain possession!

The Knights move into the Colorado zone, but they just can't hang onto the puck! The Mammoths are intercepting like crazy! Will the Knights ever be back in a position to score?
We've got some crazy back and forth here for the next couple of minutes. Neither team seems able to hang onto the puck. They're playing like their lives depend on it. For the Mammoths, they know this could be their last game before the Cup Finals. For the Knights, they are just trying to stay alive.
With six minutes left on the clock, can they mount such a crazy comeback?

The Mammoths dump the puck into the Knights zone to make a change, but Rossberg dumps it right back. Oduya retrieves the puck, but it's intercepted by Lever in the neutral zone.
Lever's pass is intercepted by Chips! Chips passes up to Pecker, who moves the puck into the Knights zone.
Pecker passes to Oduya, who sends it right back. Over to Chips. Over to Oduya. Finally, Reynolds dumps the puck in and the Mammoths get another change.
Will either team make any offensive moves? Or will these last four minutes be the end?
