SCORE! BAR DOWNSKI AND INSKI! Vilde never saw it as Maverick ripped it off the bar across the goal line. USA claws it back to 3-1.

Team Scandinavia turns up the pressure after allowing that goal, and attacks Cain with all they can. Speardane pins Niemi along the boards, kicks it free to Metcalf Jr... but the whistle sounds? Who's going to the box?? Speardane is going for.. holding? Williams is furious and yelling at the refs. The USA team hasn't exactly painted themselves out to be saints but this one was questionable.. Scandinavia sets up on the PP once again.

A successful PK so far, but you can tell Scandinavia wants this. Cain freezes the puck and we have a faceoff to his left. Muerto ties up bust and kicks it out to Ulrich, who rushes behind the net with the puck. The defense waits out front to see what he does next. Cain looks over his shoulder.. oops he slipped a little and fell to one knee. Ulrich sees this and tries to wrap it around while Cain is down! Cain sprawls to make the save...

Rasmus Rasmus dives in front and takes the shot to his stomach! OUCH! He takes out Maverick too and there's a tripping call on the play. The US has less than 10 minutes to score three goals.. do they have what it takes to come back??

The Scandinavian PK overpowers the USA powerplay and they can't get any shots through to Vilde. Time is winding down.

The clock winds down to 2 minutes and the USA team still can't find any offense. Finley crosses the blue line and it seems Cain has been called to the bench. 6 attackers on right now for USA? Will it backfire??

Finley passes to Williams, who skates by and drops it to Finley again, he can't handle it and it hops over the line! Muerto streaks over and collects the puck! USA scrambles and Kazarian goes for the hit, but not before Muerto takes a shot at the open net!

Lots of proud Scandinavians in the audience today, and lots of proud Americans as well. They won silver, but today is not their day as they were outmatched by the Scandinavian powerplay. Congrats again, Scandinavia, and good luck next year! Commentator Cain, signing off.
