The puck drops and the faceoff is won by none other than Matt Kholin. Immediately it is moved to team Canada’s offensive zone and team USA has to deal with a barrage of shots from the powerful force that is the first line of team Canada. However nothing comes of it and it is held by Andersson-Grande for a stoppage of play

The puck is moved up into team USA's defensive zone by team Canada and it gets picked off by Josh Driver from team USA. He makes a pass but it gets intercepted by team Canada’s Lyle Odelein III. The pressure on the ice starts leaning back into the defensive zone of Team USA. Luckily Andersson-Grande holds the border wall as team Canada keeps throwing biscuits at him. As team Canada makes a change, he moves the puck up to his teammate Nick Connolly. who tries to move it to Jake Peralta up the ice. However Gaspard Boone is in the way and he gets the puck to Dale Miller. The line chemistry of team Canada’s fourth line shows as the puck is moved between Atlas Rush, Gaspard Boone, and Dale Miller at lightning speed. This clearly confuses Andersson-Grande and the puck is shot by Atlas Rush straight to the top corner of the net…
