The puck deflects off of Jakobsen to Razin who wrists it high! Tanner’s back standing tall. He gloves it down and gets a whistle. Earlier Jakobsen was playing goaltender there. ![]() - Kel - 05-21-2015 Brovalchuk wins the face-off, but off the draw he’s hit by Bubba Nuck. The crowd admires his physical play as he picks up the puck. He’s off to the races beating the Rage defenseman, Constantine. Nuck sidesteps and holds the puck, he fires! James with the blocker stop then he smothers it to get the halt to play. ![]() - Kel - 05-21-2015 Another hit after Merica wins the face-off, wow, the game’s getting heated already. You can tell both teams are sick of each other. Code: 0:57 of 1st period - Daniel Merica wins face-off versus Franklin Trey in Manhattan Rage zone. - Possum Queen - 05-21-2015 ![]() - Kel - 05-21-2015 However, the puck’s moved back to Razin who quickly passes to Creller. Creller moves into the zone he passes it across to Krivokrasov who passes it to the trailing defenseman, Roy Razin. He slaps the puck! Michael J. Caboose with the block! - Kel - 05-21-2015 Razin gets it again. He throws it on net searching for some life. It’s tipped by Anderson, but Webb dives to block that too. It deflects off Webb to Razin who shoots once more! Simeon Mars III gets down on a knee to block that. That’s gotta sting. Razin’s determined to score as he digs for the puck he fires again! Simeon Mars III slides down to block that again that deflects off of Mars III to Merica and he tries his luck! However, Tanner’s squared to the puck. No rebound. - Kel - 05-21-2015 Brovalchuk wins the face-off back to Drake, he moves it across to Constantine. But, the puck doesn’t get across he fans on it. Grosberg intercepts it and he’s off to the races. He’s on a breakaway! He goes backhand then forehand trying five-hole. James reads that all the way making the save with the pads. - Kel - 05-21-2015 Manhattan gets to the puck and Drake dishes a breakout pass to Ludvigsen. He’s moving on a two one on one with Brovalchuk. Jakobsen holds onto Ludvigsen’s stick and gets the puck. Play’s blown and the refs call a penalty. - Kel - 05-21-2015 Simons wins the face-off back to Stropko and off the draw Merica gives him a little shove. Stropko dishes it to Grosberg who one-times it, but that hits the side of the net. The puck rings around to Michael J. Caboose, he’s leveled by Chuck Goody! Goody gets to the loose puck and passes it to the springing forward, Hawkins! - Kel - 05-21-2015 He’s on a breakaway. He tries to fire the puck high! Tanner shuts him down with the glove save then stares him down. - Kel - 05-21-2015 Simons wins the face-off in the Hamilton zone. However, the Rage’s penalty killers rush on the forecheck. It’s executed properly and Creller passes the puck up to the slot for Hawkins. He one-times it! Tanner absorbs the puck as it hits his chest. - Kel - 05-21-2015 Manhattan didn’t generate anything after that on the powerplay. However, the attack became too much for them resulting in Stropko icing the puck after the Rage’s powerplay ended. - Kel - 05-21-2015 The game begins to intensify. Code: 5:59 of 1st period - Griffin Simons is hit by Colt Constantine and loses puck. However, excitement dies down after three straight icings in a minute.
