HOLY SHIT GUYS

Got offered a trade I could NOT resist... I wasn't planning to move these guys till the deadliner but wow...

To ANA:
Tyler Bozak
Cody Franson
NSH 1st Rounder 2013 (They're 1st in West)

To TOR:
Cory Perry

YES! THE CORY PERRY! Wow. Probably gonna shift JVR to center to roll JVR, Perry, Kessel and hopefully acquire a first line center in the future.

So yeah, I'm kinda pumped.

We're 25-18-5

Perry is our leader with 14G 29A :D

I was doing one with the Sens and Ducks kept offering me Perry for a shit return.....I stopped myself like 5 times lol

Big trade deadline...

To DET:
Tim Connolly

To TOR:
2014 1st Round (DET)

Tim was our 3rd liner and shit. I get a piece to move for a top 5 pick in this years draft. This leaves me with some roster holes :(

To ANA:
Nicholas Deschamps

To TOR:
Teemu Selanne
Cody Elkins

I needed depth on my third line and Selanne brings it for the rest of the year. I want to make the playoffs. Elkins was a throw in for AHL depth purposes cause I have so many players in juniors.

That concluded my trading but waivers at the end of the deadline:

Claimed: Anton Stralman + Tomas Holmstrom.

Stralman = AHL depth and maybe future NHL depth. Holmstrom will be my fourth liner B) (to replace Deschamps)

Missed the playoffs by 1 point. ONE FUCKING POINT.

So this is real life eh?

<_<

K so I'm heading into the draft and I don't feel like making multiple posts so I'll update what happens as I go along:

First round, I tried to move for 3rd overall, wasn't to be and I'm down to 1 phone so it's brutal. Need to make some trades to get some phones back. Picked Max Domi 13th overall.

Second round, I picked a dman from Finland Joonas Valkonen. Adds to our defensive depth and is 3 1/2 stars. Should develop into a solid 5th/6th dman with Ludwig Bystrom. Core of Finn, Rielly, Gardiner, Phaneuf and those two sounds nice right now. Add in Percy, Hamilton and more and it's ridiculous.

3rd round I had no picks. Was offered Zach Philipps + 3rd for Kulemin and declined.

4th round I selected Alex Forsberg, a 3 1/2 star sniper. Not bad.

5th Round I selected Steven Mercier, a nother forward playmaker who is 3 1/2 stars.

6th Round I selected a goalie Ty Rimmer, name is self explanatory Wink

7th Round, I took Charles Inglis, I don't know what his position is but I recognized his name  2 stars like the 6th rounder. Will be back with FA.

Alright, well for re-signing I let go Orr, Fraser and Elkins.

Re-signed: Perry, Macarthur, Lombardi, Lupul, Aucoin, Rynnas, Holzer, Owuya, Kadri, Sparks, Bystrom, Valkonen, Brenner and a couple more who I am too lazy to name.

Notable Progressions:

Mother of god guys... some of these are straight out ridiculous...

Blacker 68-72
Brenner 57-71
Bystrom 52-55
Finn 56-59
Flaake 51-58
Frattin 72 - 83
Gardiner 81-87
Grigorenko 64-67
D. Hamilton 67-76
Holzer 72-79
Kessel 86-79
Liles 82-85
Percy 59-62
Rielly 62-74
Scott 67-72

Owuya 63-69
Reimer 78-84

So a sick year for progression and with some FA magic hopefully next year will be a good one.
